I had been a stay-at-home mom for many years. I loved being able to spend time with my kids. But, when I got divorced, my kids were all in school and I needed a way to make a little extra money. My husband paid support, but I wanted some of my own money.  I started working at Walmart, but I hated it. Thankless job. When a friend mentioned the idea of phone sex jobs, my curiosity got piqued, but I did not take her seriously.

At first, I seemed a little hesitant to give it any serious thought. But I think because I feared the thought of speaking to strangers on the phone about sex. But after a little research, I realized that phone sex seemed to be a legitimate way to make some extra money. It was a job that could be done from home, and I could set my own hours.  Working around my children’s school schedules seemed like a perfect fit for me.

I applied for a job and was quickly hired. I was surprised at how easy it was to get started and how much flexibility the job gave me. But that first company did not work out because I found out the bosses played favorites and did some shady things. So, I applied at a second place, WBMT, and I have been here since.  This is a fair company and a legitimate one too.

The only requirements for WBMT are that you blog each shift you work at least 5 times a week. And that you show up for the hours you commit to work. I quickly realized that blogging was like free advertisement, and it helped me get more calls. So, I got over my dislike of blogging quickly. We get paid by the minute on our talk time and the more you work, and the more you blog, the more you make. Phone sex is not an hourly wage job.  If you don’t work, you don’t make any money.

I quickly got the hang of the job and soon began making more money than I thought possible. And I love being a phone sex operator. I think you will too.

Adult phone operator jobs are not all created equally. My last PSO company paid me 50 cents a minute on my talk time. The phone was glued to my ear. And I still could not pay all my bills working 80 hours a week. At WBMT, I can make anywhere from $1 to $1.10 a minute. And even if I worked 40 hours a week, my paychecks here are more than double what I made at my last company.

I’ve been in the industry for decades, but never knew companies like this existed. In fact, I assumed all companies were like the ones I had worked at in the past. Boy, was I wrong. Now, WBMT does require more work, but it is nice to be rewarded for my efforts and commitment to making money. I am a hard worker. You need a good work ethic to succeed in this industry.

That is because phone sex is a job. Even though you work from home and are considered an independent contractor, you need to treat this like a job. You show up on time. He wanted me to beg him to come home. All he ever wanted was me dependent on him. I did not have many options for a job. I barely graduated high school.
