Not All Phone Sex Jobs are the Same

But I have been with WBMT for the longest of any of the companies I worked at before. When I first started in this industry, I was green. I was going to college, and I just needed a job where I could make money while in my dorm room. So, I could study in between calls. Back then I needed a landline. And a dial up connection. Lots of things have changed in the industry in 25 years.

A couple of the companies that I worked at in the past, just refused to adapt with the changing technology, and they became kind of archaic. And newer, hipper companies put them out of business. Some companies were just rife with drama. I had one company that never paid me after a month working for them. About 13 years ago, I left my last company and I came here. I took a risk because then WBMT was a new company.

But I stuck it out. Because it’s a good company to work for. I blogged and I worked a lot of hours. And I built up my regular caller base. A few of those guys are still calling me today. But I get new regulars weekly. Guys come and go in this industry. And some guys bounce around from company to company and girl to girl. If you’re consistent with your schedule and your blog on a regular basis, you’ll find that you can make a decent living here at WBMT without any of the bullshit that plagues a lot of job industries.

I love working at this company. And I don’t think I’ll go anyplace else. I am 58 now and I’ve been in this industry for a long time. So, I can tell you that this is a great company to work for.

We hire girls who can work anywhere from 30 to 60 hours a week. And the more hours that you work in a week, you receive a pay bump up to $1.10 a minute for working 60 hours or more in pay period

We do operate with set schedules, but you design them. So, you can pick whatever hours work for you. We do our schedules three months at a time, and I like that because I can change it up. I tend to work more hours during the winter months and less in the summer months when the kids are out of school.

A lot of companies do it where you just work a certain number of hours per week and show up when you want. So, you do need to consider your life and build a schedule that works well with it. Consistency is key here because guys grow to look for you at certain times.

I love this company because I have the freedom to set my own schedule. And we get to change it up every three months. And in any given week, we can choose to pick a schedule out of available hours instead of sticking to our regular schedule, which really helps when things come up during those three months that don’t work with your regular schedule.

This company has a lot of requirements. And if you’ve been in this business before, you probably will encounter more requirements than you are accustomed to. But there’s a reason behind any of the work we are required to do. And that helps us. We have good call volume which leads to higher paychecks. A lot of companies struggle with enough call volume to keep all operators busy. But that’s never a problem here. Sure, we have slow periods. But we have enough site traffic to hire more girls.

You do need to blog at this company. And you need to blog at least five days out of a seven day work week. Each day we blog we get a boost in pay. I never mind blogging because I’ve seen how it relates to my paychecks. And I have a lot of bills to pay, but nobody to pay them but me. So, if you want to work from home and make a living wage, you should consider phone sex. The money is likely a lot better than you even think.

Being a Phone Sex Operator is Not What I Thought

phone sex operatorBeing a phone sex operator is not what I thought. In fact, it’s even better. I knew nothing about this sort of work when I applied. But I just needed to make money. I broke my leg and I couldn’t stand on my feet all day as a waitress. And although my job said I would still be able to come back. What would I do for three months without an income while I recovered and went to physical therapy. I felt desperate for a job. But most of the online stuff I say would only make me at most a couple hundred dollars a week and I needed a lot more than that.

So I applied here thinking it would just be a temporary three-month thing. But that was three years ago. I never went back to waitressing. Why would I. I started making a lot more money even without the tips. Plus, at this job I could work at home and not have to stand on my feet all day. Or deal with angry customers. This is a great job for any woman. And you can work part-time or full-time. But once you get here, you’ll quickly realize that you can make more money full-time than you can part-time.

You do need to hustle. This is a sales job in a way. We sell ourselves through blogs. The company requires us to write several a day for pay. But it’s your decision whether you want to make full pay or not. The pay scale is tied to how many blogs a week you do and how many hours you work too. And since I’m greedy for money, I work my ass off to work as many hours as I can. But I don’t have any kids. I don’t even have a husband so I can devote more time to this. But we have girls here that work anywhere from 30 to 60 hours and they all hustle.
