I have held a variety of jobs. All paid minimum wage and had me on my feet dealing with disgruntled patrons all the time. I felt mentally drained and physically exhausted. Plus, I couldn’t pay all my bills. So, I had no money for anything fun like a movie or a concert.
I believe everything happens for a reason. So, when I broke my ankle stocking shelves at the grocery store, I needed a temporary job. And I found WBMT. Well, that happened 10 years ago. I never went back to stocking shelves at Shop and Save because I got spoiled. I traded standing for sitting. I traded stocking shelves for blogging. And minimum wage for a livable wage.
