I have been a phone sex operator since I was 18 and I’m now 32. But I only recently joined the team at WBMT. And I did so out of frustration because at my last PSO job the money just seemed to dry up. Now, I understand that the economy and government shutdowns and all sorts of different things affect the phone sex business, but my former company didn’t give us any options for trying to make more money. All they did was hire more women meaning that the rest of us would make less money.
A friend of mine left the company we worked at together and came here last year. And she loves it. She’s been trying to recruit me for months, but I liked my other company, and I liked my regular callers there too. But it came down to me needing to eat and pay my rent. So, I took a gamble and I came here. And now I’m beating myself up for not joining WBMT before now.
WBMT seems unique. They don’t over hire. And they require schedules so that not everybody works the same shift, and the sites look covered. At my old company we just signed in whenever we wanted to work, and I signed in a lot because my minutes went way down. Although it took me a while to get used to the scheduling thing, I’ve noticed that men look for me at certain hours of the day. So, I understand requiring schedules.
y don’t over hire. And it’s a blob driven company. My old company didn’t require any blogging which might be part of the problem with the declining minutes. Blogging did take some getting used to, but once I realized that blogging only helped my minutes, I no longer minded blogging. And you won’t either.
WBMT does do things different differently. And they do require some things that many companies don’t. But the upside is consistent minutes and consistent call volume. And that’s really the bottom line of any phone sex company you work for. You want to know that there’s always going to be callers. And you want to know that you can hustle a little more during slow periods to make your minutes better.
So, if you’re at a company where you’re not making much money or not making as much money as you need jump ships like I did. Trust me, you’ll be asking yourself why you didn’t come here sooner like I did.
